What really is a Lint Free Wiper?

To understand fully, you have to understand there is no such thing as a Lint Free Cotton Wiper.  Cotton contains fiber wound together and get what, those fibers can separate from each other and get on your equipment. 

Well, people may say, the tighter the weave, the less lint you have.  And that's true, however, a tighter weave means it's less soft.  Therefore, the New White Cotton Rags make a lower lint option than the Recycled Colored Sweatshirts Rags.

If you really want a lint free wiper or lint free rag....try nonwoven options!  Like the Heavy Duty Blue Shop Towel.  This wiper is extremely low lint and has a high absorption rate. 

In the end, don't be fooled by labeling that says lint free.  Unless its ISO rate Cleanroom certified for lint free, its probably not as lint free as you think.
